 BOSTON ❝ THE DEALER ❞ Nathan Pierce, under the alias BOSTON, is one of the Big Three of the American Order (operating alongside LANGLEY and NEW YORK, under WASHINGTON DC). Pre-Order, Nathan was brought up comfortably in Somerville, MA, eventually attending Harvard Law in the pursuit of justice (and money), passing the bar at the ever-so-tender age of 25. After spending many years working as an associate, Nathan secured the position of partner within one of Boston city's most prestigious private firms. It was during his time at this firm that the Order swooped in, plucked him from his lofty place among the American upper class, and gifted him with power distribution—and a new name. Boston is very aware of his ability to resolve problems with a steady argument. Never underestimate the power of a written agreement between conflicting parties—always get it in writing. He regards every operative as a potential client, and potential clients mean potential business (and he takes care of his clients). Now senior partner, Boston manages people in two areas: he knows and is known, and therefore possesses a vast network of contacts through which he can gain or distribute information. He is very precise, very efficient, and very put-together. He knows the right things to say, and the right people to say them to. (The right place, the right time.) He both enjoys his position and covets his power, both gifted and gained—he's no saint, but he's no devil, either. As for his ability, Boston acts as a power warehouse. He can take a power via intent and contact, store it for a time (unable to access or otherwise use it), and can then redistribute or return it to another vessel. Two powers cannot inhabit one body at the same time, so in the event of a power switch, the initial power will be automatically stored before another is given. With one touch, he can lend you talent. What better way to seal a deal than with a handshake? |
